The Fairfield County
Fair is
one of the last county fairs of the year. It offers a variety of attractions including
truck, tractor, and horse pulls, demolition derbies, concerts, bands, and horse races. There is
also a large assortment of exhibits and rides for all ages. Dates for
the Fairfield County Fair are October 7-13, 2012.
On Monday, October 8, 2012,
a country artist
will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m.
This is a
reserved seating event and tickets will be on sale at
the Fair Board office on Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at
9:00 a.m. Ticket prices are track seating
$20.00, grandstand seating $15.00. Visa and
MasterCard will be accepted with a minimal handling
fee. Checks, cash, and money orders are also
accepted. Children under 1 are free to the
reserved seating events and will have to be held.
All other children will require tickets and will have
a seat available for them.
A new grandstand event this year at the fair
is on Tuesday night at 7:30, an ATV pull. More
information will follow on this event.
Rules and regulations for all events may be picked up
at the administration building on the fair grounds or just click on the
Fair Event Forms Tab. Office
hours are 8:30 to 12:00, starting August 27 the
hours will be 8:30 to 4:00.
