| Fairfield County Fair Home | The Fairfield County Fair is one of the last county fairs of the year. It offers a variety of attractions including truck, tractor, and horse pulls, demolition derbies, concerts, bands, and horse races. There is also a large assortment of exhibits and rides for all ages. Dates for the Fairfield County Fair are October 11-17, 2009. On Monday, October 12, 2009, country music artist Jake Owen will give a concert at 7:30 p.m. This is a reserved seating event and tickets will be on sale at the Fair Board office on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at 9:00 a.m. Ticket prices are track seating $20.00, grandstand seating $15.00. Visa and MasterCard will be accepted at a minimal handling fee. Checks, cash, and money orders are also accepted. Children under 1 are free to the reserved seating events and will have to be held. All other children will require tickets and will have a seat available for them. This year at the fair on Tuesday evening will be a new event, "The Fairfield County Talent Contest". The contest is sponsored by WLOH, WFCO and WLRY Radio Stations, any questions please contact them. Rules and regulations for all events may be picked up at the administration building on the fair grounds. Office hours are 8:30 to 12:00, starting August 25 the hours will be 8:30 to 4:00.
